We’re using a different format for this issue of Dan’s Desk. We’ve combined our updates for both April and May to include a recap of the spring business meetings and other events during this time frame. It’s all included in a brief video message where I sat down with Rebecca Gray, our Senior Manager of Communications, to talk about our recent events, as well as share more about the domain approach—because it’s so important to the Institute’s long-term success. The domain approach connects industry economics, business needs, technical challenges, and public policy issues in our three domains of Aeronautics, Aerospace R&D, and Space. AIAA is uniquely positioned to bring all of this together to make an impact and move the industry forward.
